Pulp Friday: Trigger Talk

This week’s short story comes from Giant Western published in August 1949.  It’s a short tale about dealing with “nesters” or “homesteaders”.  These are the settlers who lay claim to land that is classified as open range.  They are the nemesis of the cattlemen and their ways of dealing with them were often brutal and resulted in many clashes.  This story looks at things from a different angle–one about giving folks a fair shake.
