Pulp Friday: Ghost Rider

This week’s pulp western tale is from Exciting Western August 1946.  Ghost Rider features Alamo Paige–a Pony Express rider who is bushwhacked on one of his runs.  Thrown from his horse and stabbed by the bandits he is left for dead.  But Paige is made of sturdy sinew and, to the three bandits, seems to come back from the dead.  This is a straightforward story about a dedicated express rider who packs a Colt Dragoon and thinks on his feet.
